The Vanstone Woodland Railway runs a miniature train through the woodland, and there is a playground and the lake with its ducks and geese. Ask at the train when you arrive to see if it is running that day.
Yes, bags of swan and duck food are sold at the Greenhouse Cafe. There are benches and a small bridge by the water to feed them from.
We are at Hitchin Ln, Codicote, Hitchin SG4 8TH. Monday to Saturday we are open 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and on Sunday 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
